Thank you for your interest in helping others. We bring the community together in an effort to alleviate hunger by running a meal-making program every week for the purpose of feeding the homeless or needy.
Urban Food Alliance reaches out to the homeless and to under-privileged families, who need warm, fresh cooked, nutritional meals. As a non-profit 501c(3) organization, Urban Food Alliance services the needy in local neighborhoods. Unlike local food pantries, Urban Food Alliance donates healthy cooked meals each week and works with social services to identify where meals are needed.
Our typical day:
· Boxing meals starts at 2 PM
· Delivering meals in two steps
A) South Brunswick, NJ team starts around 2:30 PM
B) Trenton, NJ team starts around 3:00 PM
Our motto is giving and receiving with dignity. We deliver fresh cooked meals in South Brunswick and Trenton every weekend to bring the community together and deliver happiness. We have limited space, so please RSVP if you'd like to help.
